Cobb Ridge Recreation Area lies in the center of the Chadwick Motorcycle and ATV use area, which is popular among motorcycle, dirt bike and off-road vehicle enthusiasts. Numerous trails provide nearly 80 miles of interconnecting loops that vary from easy to difficult terrain, winding in and out of deep, forested hollows and down long ridge tops.
Family and group camping is available, providing access to Missouri's beautiful Mark Twain National Forest.
Operational Hours:
Year-round. 6:00 AM - 10:00PM; with only registered campers overnight. Check out time: 2:00PM. Quiet Hours are 10:00 PM - 6:00AM. No dispersed camping is available within this campground.
Reservations:
Reservations for this site can be made on Recreation.gov All reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance of arrival. Group sites can be reserved up to 12 months in advance. Standard sites can be reserved up to 6 months in advance.
Fees:
Nightly camping fees are $10 for single nonelectric sites; $15 for single electric sites; and $45 for the group sites.
Restrictions:
NO UTV's or side by sides allowed on Chadwick Trails. Campers required to check-in with on-site host upon arrival. Helmets are required at all times for off-road vehicle riders under 18 years of age. Riders are required to have a valid state driver’s license – anyone without a license must be accompanied by a person with a valid driver’s license at all times.
